A full day trip exploring the fabulous area of the Dolomites. Enjoy the relaxing drive of our driver/guide admiring the breathtaking mountain panorama; we will stop on some beautiful viewpoint to give you the possibility to take photos.
The journey starts visiting the “Diga del Vajont”, whose landslide in 1963 caused environment disaster and many local people death (about 2000 ); Then we will visit two small picturesque towns Pieve di Cadore ( Titian’s town) and Auronzo di Cadore with its enchanting lake.
Our trip continues to the natural Lake of Misurina, starting point to the outstanding peaks “Tre Cime di Lavaredo” where one of the most breathtaking view of the Dolomites stands in front of your eyes.
After lunch we will arrive to Cortina d’Ampezzo, “ the pearl of the Dolomites” with its enchanting centre and the square where your interest of shopping will find the top; many movies has been located in this splendid town.
Prestigious hotels,restaurant and and wonderful pists for sky capture many visitors especially during the winter season In Cortina d’Ampezzo guest will have 1 our for a free walk around the centre before returning in Venice area for the end of the daily tour .
